Old-time Water Bottles

I seldom go anywhere without considering the availability of water. When out walking, I usually carry a bottle of water along and drink from it frequently. And when going shopping, I always time it so that I can get a chilled bottle of water half way during the morning. There is nothing like a drink of cool fresh water. We can buy it chilled almost anywhere. Or, we can bottle it at home to take along.
Cute and varied designs of BPA free bottles available today can make us want to color coordinate our water bottles to our gear! And, we don’t need to stop at fashion coordination, we can image project with our water bottles too. We can be a conservationist, minimalist, retro, historical, traditional kind of person, and our water container choice will echo how we want others to see us.
Do you only use glass, or are you a stainless steel kind of person? Which do you prefer? How about bamboo, or wood? And leather? Did you know that in times past water was carried in molded and hand sewn leather containers? Then it progressed to wood and metals. Glass was used too. As much as I like history and learning how our forefathers fared, I am grateful for this modern era where BPA free bottles can be found almost anywhere. We can boil our water, buy our water, and find it safe to drink almost anywhere.
If you’re the historical kind of person, you may want to buy something to show you’re an old world kind of person. Here’s a link –
