A Helping Hand

So much devastation is caused, not only in the lives of people, but in nature too, during and after severe storms, earthquakes, and tsunamis. And, then we can add to nature’s destructive forces the destruction we see as a result of human nature; wars, famine, and distress. Right now, in the news, we can’t miss seeing broken lives and more – everywhere.
This is the reality of the world we live in today!
How can we make a difference? What can we do to encourage others who may be sinking into despair over the losses they see, or may know personally? I find comfort and a growing trust in watching clips like the one shared here. God shows His compassion, care, love, and mercy through the work of those faithful to serve Him. They are His hands, and feet. They bring hope, and encouragement to communities where it is so very much needed.
What do you do? What can you do?
Show kindness!
Consider getting involved in recovery and restoration through actively serving those who have lost hope, lost their homes, and lost their way.
Please watch this link, and so many more to comfort your heart and know more of the goodness of God in the trying and difficult seasons of life.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling (Psalm 46:1-3).
