I always believed chameleons changed their color to hide, so they could either be invisible in their surroundings or blend In. Chameleons I understood to be ultimate in camouflage. Did you believe this too?

Social expressions enforced this belief as the ever changing chameleon – or so we understood them to be – were so skilled in adapting to the appearance of their environment that persons who changed are likened to them – they are called chameleons. Sometimes it’s used as a compliment, and at other times it is derogatory.

Watching this short National Geographic clip

allowed me to learn so much more about Chameleons and the reasons for their change in color. Such intrinsic design and intelligence to every color change they show. However can the argument of evolution be supported in such design – I don’t think it can!

  • In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made (John 1:1-3).
