Ballet in the Wild

Spring on the African plains provides many opportunities of amazing entertainment. God has provided much to delight us and reveal Himself to us. He is an awesome Creator.

Springbok pronking reminds me of the ballet. Such grace and majesty in each and every movement. Is this the thought that crossed the mind of the writer of Job when he said, ‘they send their little ones out as a flock; and their children dance’ (Job 21:11)?

Certainly, when viewing this I want to twirl and dance – jumping with joy and carefree abandon. How about you? Are you so well rested in trust and confidence in the Lord that you like the Springbok can overflow with delight and joy?
