Mirror Makeover

Recently I switched work assignments and now get to spend more time working from home. The drawback is my apartment does not receive much sun during the day. I like lots of natural light and fresh air.

Fresh air I have more than enough of, but it would be nice to have more daylight! To make this happen in the most cost effective way I thought mirrors would do the trick. They would reflect daylight and double the amount of light in the room. I purchased nine mirrors from our equivalent to the dollar store and made a Pottery Barn style mirror. It works!

Here’s a link that shows you how it is done. This is perfect for those temporary spaces when life is not settled and we don’t want to spend unwisely.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. James 1:22-24
