Quack Squad

I loved this! A whole new kind of work crew – a squad of ducks. Their job, eating snails. This is one way to keep a vineyard healthy and organic. I’m sure it fascinates visitors to the farm to see the ducks heading off to start their day’s work. For the crew to go out on a daily basis, snails must certainly be an ongoing problem! I’d rather see the ducks at work than have pesticides used to control the snails.

God gave us dominion of the earth, to subdue and bring order to it (Genesis 1:28). When man uses what God has given – ducks – to bring control to a snail population, preserving the environment through doing so, it honors Him. Don’t you think so?
